THEO FIELDING began his career with the City of Akron on May 9, 1988, as a firefighter/medic.

THEO and his wife Angela reside in North Hill and are members of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ. THEO sings in the church choir and was recently elected deacon. THEO is a big Miami Dolphins fan. He enjoys traveling, photography, playing guitar, and skiing. This spring THEO will graduate from Baldwin Wallace College with a major in business and a minor in finance/accounting.

THEO’s most important job is saving lives and property. THEO is a public safety instructor through the Akron Board of Education, and an Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Cardio Life Support, Basic Trauma Life Support and Basic Life Support instructor for the Akron Fire Department. He is also a member of the EMS Peer Review Committee. He volunteers for Children’s Hospital Aluminum Cans for Burned Children camp and Christmas tree delivery. THEO is a first aid/CPR merit badge trainer for the Boy Scouts.

THEO is very much respected by his peers.
