 RUSSEL C. NEAL, JRRussel C. Neal Jr., a graduate of Akron’s Buchtel High School,
was elected ward 4 Councilman in November of 2009.
He received a B.A. in Business Management and Marketing
from Ohio University and attended the East Akron Neighborhood Development Applied
Leadership Program.
Mr. Neal is owner of the Graffitti Print Shop in north
Akron and is founder and past president of the Buchtel Alumni Association, Inc. He is a
member of Project Grad Akron Board of Directors; Akron Inner City Soccer Association;
South Street Ministries; life member Akron Branch NAACP, charter member, 100 Black Men of
America, Akron Chapter; Buchtel High School PTA; and is a deacon at Prince of Peace
Baptist Church.
Russel and his wife Yolanda live in ward 4 and are parents
of a son, Dean.
