Within the boundaries of Ward 6 sit a few notable places like the home of the Soap Box Derby, Akron Fulton Airport and the iconic Airdock. It was also once home to the famed Rubber Bowl where the University of Akron's football team played. The Rubber Bowl was also a home to many famed acts of the past and remains cemented in Akron’s history.
