Consolidated Plan
The City of Akron is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) entitlement community. As such, the Long-Range Planning Division prepares a Five-Year Consolidated Plan and subsequent One-Year Action Plans that are approved annually by the City of Akron and by HUD. The plans detail the programming of federal funds through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, Home Investment Partnership (HOME) program, and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program, to address local housing, quality of living environment and economic needs. A summary of Akron’s latest Consolidated Plan, Action Plans and Performance Reports are linked below.
