The Community Events Division processes all applications for area organizations that would like to host an event in the city and acts as the city contact for any community event. The division also processes all block party petitions, film permits, street pole banner applications, and showmobile rentals.  They coordinate several community events for the city including the Summer Concert Series in the parks, the Akron Arts Expo weekend, and the Welcome Santa Holiday Parade.  There’s always something going on in Akron!
