Sports and Athletics Division

Did you know that there are over 200 athletic fields and courts located throughout the city?  The City of Akron Sports and Athletics division oversees the permitting of all city fields and courts, offers youth and adult sport leagues, and assists with coordinating large tournaments.  The division also oversees operations for Firestone Stadium.    

Field permits from the Sports and Athletics division are required for any organized play on City of Akron fields.
